We have noticed lot of tablets launched in the recent times including Android based tablets like Binatone Android Touch Tablet priced at Rs 9000, OlivePad Android Tablet at Rs 25,000 & latest one to successfully integrated Windows 7 on Tycoon Tablet. Indian government is planning to launch $35 Android Tablets. So we have seen a lot of tablets coming into market and one which has gained lot of attention before is launch is Adam tablet by Notion Ink.
Notion Ink Adam tablet is finally here with its expected launch date of December this year and will start taking pre orders in first week of December or so. It would be shipped with NVIDIA Tegra 2 Chipset processor with 1GHz dual core & Pixel Qi display which can save 80% of power in outdoor/ black and white mode. It includes the latest version of ANdroid 2.2 (also known as Android Froyo). Its will be available in 10.1″ module and the 7″ would be available in the second quarter of 2011.
Adam Tablet would be available in three different model and user can pickup for which they require. The basic variations ranges from LCD display, Pixel Qi, WiFi and 3G.

It’s expected that the price can be further slashed but I think you can’t expect more than 10% drop in price. The official website is live and available for the access to the outside world. Although the company is Indian based and to mention with the orders would be booked for most of the countries.
